Well what a time we had at the beach....It was a long overdue vacay for all of us, and our 1st family vacation, or as I was expecting a RE-Location, but to my pleasant surprise, it was really a VACATION! We had so much fun with our little boys and boy did they just eat up all that Daddy and Mommy time and making us laugh for hours on end! Campbell and Airey LOVED the beach. They didn't mind the sand in their hair and eyes and hands (BTW, they ate about a pound each I would guess, hehe..)Campbell crawled strait for the waves every time an Airey looked for seashells and jumped the waves. We cooked in a lot with all new seafood recipes I had and made huge breakfast too. Roger and I enjoyed reading the paper and sipping coffee while the boys would explore the condo and balcony every morning. By afternoon they would be pooped from the beach and sleep about 3 hrs, so Rog and I enjoyed Bloody Mary's and yummy dips and just having fun talking and relaxing with each other, we even got a chance to read a book. Campbell learned to pull up while we were there and has started pointing at everything, both hands even, haha....Roger said he looks like Romo calling out the linebackers on the line LOL. We had an cool wade pool and playground on site and that was fun for a change from the beach and for late afternoons. The condo had fun activities for the kids like bandana painting and caramel apple dipping and always passed out popsicles, Airey's Fav! There was so much for the boys to enjoy as well as us! We took them to Seaside one day to Bud and Alley's where our wedding reception was, and to take their picture right where we stood taking our 1st wedding photos was surreal, wow. We have come a long way in such a short time! They enjoyed ice cream and the walks on the beach and especially one lunch at Sharkeys that had a pirate ship playground! It was so wonderful to spend 8 days together as a family and we feel so lucky and blessed to have such good boys and a unbelievable loving marriage. I couldnt do everyday without the help of my husband and all the love he gives to me and his sons. We are so thankful for that time together and all the memories we made :)

Campbell's 1st Birthday!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY CAMPBELL! At 3:11 one year ago I fell madly in love with with my new son. We were surprised you were a boy b/c my pregnancy was so different from Airey , but you are SO different from Airey! You have brought our family such joy and excitement and we love you! You are such a sweet heart and a little drama baby after my own heart! You have brought us such great memories this past year and you are our little chunky monkey! Even though you are just in the 10th percentile for weight and 50% for height at your check up today your little thighs are just so chunky I can just eat them....haha. You are pulling up on your knees now and I know will be chasing brother soon :) You have your little quirks of being so picky with what you eat and when you eat and love to shake your head back and forth NO NO if you do not want something. You love to clap and can wave when you feel like it and just smile all the time with that big gap between your teeth (7 of them!) You love drinking at eating what WE have or what brother has, but never your own. We took you to the zoo for your actual birthday and you loved the farm animals best and hearing all the cows moooo and sheep baaaaa....You had your 1 year pics yesterday and just did great! When the spotlight is on you, you eat it up (where do you get that?????...hmmmm). We had your big birthday party on Saturday and you had a ball (literally) in the bouncer and love your cake and playing with friends and family. It was a monkey mania and it just made you and mom and dad SMILE :)

The Love Birds!

Roger and His Dad played in the Annual Father Son Golf Tournament this past weekend and the boys had a blast! They didnt bring home the trophy but had a great time with all their comrades. A future family member Brad McCormick (Paige's fiance) and his Dad brought home the Gold, So congrats to team Rocky Top as I understand it (orange pants.....??? Really????, ugh!). We had fun getting takeout with the family at Pops on Friday night and the boys and I hit up the playground at Chick a "Lay" as Airey calls it on Saturday and enjoyed the festivities at Pops Saturday night with all the Father Son participants. There were kids everywhere....its funny in how in less then 3 years the 4 of us couples have doubled our population with 8 kids, WOW...Sunday Roger and I and the Pattersons hosted a Sip n See for Baby Carter Lynch. The kids again had a great time together. Airey and Ella Catherine have really bonded and were connected at the hip (literally at one point....yikes, sorry about that Matt....!) What a fun weekend and so glad to meet baby Carter and see our out of town friends and fam. Looking forward to a nice quiet week, but on Friday my baby boy Campbell will be turning 1!

Well, well....

Well, well.....it has been a BUSY two weeks to say the least. Week before last I taught VBS at St. Louis Church and I was in charge of Crafts for 6-10 yr olds....fun because it gave me a glimpse of my two boys at those ages.....and to be frank.....IM SCARED! Wow, how fast can a 6 year old insult you and have both hands covered in paint an moss stuck in his hair.....2.5 seconds! I had a blast with the girls, they loved crafts and painting, they boys.....well they would rather play tag, but cute all the same. Funniest boy in the class was named Bear, I noticed everyday he had on a different Alabama T shirt so on Friday when he wore a Tide jersey.....I had to ask, so "you like Alabama"....well he said "my name is Bear isnt it!", hilarious...."I was named after the GREAT Bear Bryant" LOL. Kids.....gotta love it! I also was busy that week getting ready for Baby Georgia, Bonnie, an Jason's shower which was a ton of fun , tears (happy ones), and great goodies for baby! Georgia is now home at over 4 lbs and just thriving! Mom and Dad are sleep deprived but are doing an amazing job. We are so proud of them! That weekend the sickness came....ughhhh....the boys were in the VBS nursery one week and we all got sick....ear infections, soar throats, cough and congestion for all. We all got better one at a time and were able to pick back up on Monday.
This past week was super busy too we had a week long slumber party at Kitty's! The boys loved hanging out with their Grandmother eating McDonalds whenever they wanted and a gallon of M&M's for all day snacking :), So on Friday morning we packed our bags and headed to the annual 6 man golf tourney in Cleveland MS where my BFF Marybeth and her hubby Brad live with their two boys Riley and Park. We were suppose to have our big family pics done at a barn and out in the cotton fields and wildflowers of the Delta, but as 6 days of rain preluded that, we had to reschedule :(, so in two weeks back to the Delta Dirt again. The guys Dave,Terry, Kevin, Brad,Rog, and Matt Lynch did their best in the match, after day one they were tied for 1st in their flight and won an Eagle contest for almost $200 each in merchandise, whoooo! Great shot Terry! Day two, they got sandbagged by a scratch golf team that well don't get me started.....anyway they played great and had lots of fun! We had a babysitter Friday so we all headed to Crawdads for yummy steak and Saturday night my mom Mimi kept the boys so we could sleep in and have fun at the party at the CCC. Marybeth and I had so much fun having girl time and catching up....Gotta love Good Friends and Good Times! Until next week.....
