cook outs.....

Friday started the weekend off great with a big play date at the house with all the babies....Hayes and Cole made their play date debut and baby Georgia was there in our heart =). Mainly we just had girl talk while the babies slept and Lewis and Airey played. That night we headed to a cookout (#1) for the Mayors...aka "sweet t"...aka....Terry Roundface Cole's birthday. Roger and I had good laughs with the old crew and enjoyed celebrating with Uncle Terry's cheese fries cake.....yes cheese fries, and if you know Terry this is no surprise....hehe. Saturday night was another (#2) cookout hosted by our great friends Bonnie and Jason Shelby and let me tell you we had the most amazing dinner, honestly Emeril style! Thanks guys! Loved hanging out with great friends on a great night. Airey loved playing with Mr. Juice and Miss BonBon and we cant wait until Georgia is there with us! Campbell has 8 teeth now and crawling all over, he waves Bye Bye and claps too. He is such a big boy...he is drinking whole milk now and only one bottle a day, so we are almost out of the bottles and baby food and i cant wait.....AHHHHH sweet relief...... Airey and Campbell entertain each other now and its so nice to have a break, dont get me wrong I love my boys, but a gal needs a rest you know???? We had a low key Sunday with VBS setup and hanging with the neighborhood and (#3) cookout with hot dogs and mac and cheese (Rogers fav!), until next week.....enjoy this beautiful weather :)

Chatty!

In the TN replica of the river playing with my boys!
This is the cousin shot.....this REALLY is the best we could do. haha
Airey and Jack getting into everything
Roger enjoying a Moon Pie on the way....Chatty is the Home of the Moon Pie BTW
Me and my snuggle bear....he wants to snuggle every night from 7-7;30 b/f bedtime and I LOVE it....its my favorite time of day :)

Well the Cole Patrol headed to Chattanooga this weekend to spend Jack's 3rd birthday with him and see Seth's new restaurant Champy's Famous Fried Chicken....home of Blues, Brews and Bird! It was so amazing and I am so impressed with what Seth and Crissy have accomplished. It was the coolest place from the homemade hot tamales to the pork skins hanging from old car tags and the tin bar and claw footed tub to hold the 40 oz beers! Love everything about it! I wish he would open it here! Congrats guys- you have opened a gem!

Jack's 3rd birthday was Saturday so we started out the day feeling a little slow from the fun night before (i.e. steaks and wine and too much beer!) . We headed to Champy's for lunch for fried green pickled tomatoes and yummy tamales. After that we went to the Aquarium and it was so fun. It had a 3 story high shark tank, a butterfly exhibit, a replica of the TN river, and every kind of fish from all over the world! The boys were mesmerized. If you have a chance, GO GO GO! It will take all day its sooooo big. They even had a tank of mini sea-horses that were less than a 1/4 long, TINY. Seth grilled out for us that night some burgers that gave Dyers/Huey's a run for their money. Jack had a fun truck cake and the boys just played with all his new toys including a ride on Gator! Seth took them on his dirt bike in the back yard and Airey has decided to be a X-game rider....haha. Campbell loved crawling around at high speed to try and keep up and laughed at all the big boys. He will be 1 next month and I cant even believe it.....i will have two toddlers and no babies :( sad in a way but so glad we are out of the woods....they really entertain each other now that Campbell is mobile and that presents a whole new chapter of crazy, but it is all fun and we enjoy them so much. Campbell has his own personality of dare devil! We can already tell we will make multiple ER trips with him and have broken bones and stitches im sure..its funny how different they are and no one can prepare you for that....its wild.... Airey my snuggler cautious little tenderheart and Campbell my wild man dare devil are the loves of my life and Roger and I look forward to watching them grow and become little boys so soon! Much love and until next time...

We got in a little putt putt this week too! Airey is really getting the hang of this golf thing
Sweet baby Hayes

Happy fourth to you all! We had an amazing and exciting week and weekend! airey welcomed a new god-sister this week! Olivia Hayes Patterson was born July 2nd and weighed 6 lb 5 oz and was 20 in. Congrats Adam, Em,and Big Brother Gray! I also got to see Miss Georgia, Bonnie and Jason baby girl that was born June 29th who has been in the NICU b/c she was born at 29 weeks, but is 31 weeks now and doing GREAT :) She is just perfect! I has been such a blessed couple of weeks with these 3 new additions. Hayes, Georgia and our new nephew Cole are just little miracles and we cant wait to watch them grow and grow and one day all be playing together.

As for the big holiday....My mom "Mimi" took the boys for two nights so Roger and I could go to Terry's at Lake Caroline in Madison a few days early to go boating and have a little husband wife time. It was so much fun heading out on the lake with all our friends and hanging, grilling, dining and drinking (a little much of the Mayor's famous "1776er....erggh....hung-over" drink of the weekend) We picked up the boys Saturday and Airey had gotten into a fire ant bed and something else at Mimi's....so his foot looked super scary so we headed to the only open dr. on the 4th holiday and spent all day there trying to get seen....4 HOURS with two babies in a waiting room....yikes! Thank God Uncle Tip and Aunt Judy came up there to help us! The Dr. did a culture and believes airey got staff infection and gave him a shot an antibiotics. This of course was just par for the course after I got bit by a brown recluse and was in the Dr. 1st thing Monday and got 3 shots and on antibiotics too, what are the freakin ODDS...haha...Of course he didn't skip a beat! He got chocolate milk and a new weed-eater for being such a good boy at the doctor. When we got back Uncle Terry, Whitney, Dave and Julie took him to the Mermaid and out on the lake for a while and we took him to see his 1st fireworks. He lovvvvvved them! So it ended up being a great time with family and friends. Hope all our troops and men and women who fight and have fought for our freedom were in all our hearts that day and everyday and we thank you!
