rog and his "REAL " catch!
we had the most fun last weekend as we paired up with my bff and her fam and headed to stay with Terry and Whitney at Lake Caroline. Its always great when we can get our four boys together because i know one day they will all be so close. Uncle Terry got the boys worms and fishing poles so this was airey 1st experience with fishing and rog just couldn't contain himself! He loved showing him how to cast and how to put the bait on and of course how to reel in the big one....(on a side note there were no big ones, but thats what dad told airey anyway...see pics for proof). The adults has mucho fun out on the lake and Mama even skied for the 1st time in 12 years and lets just say i had to go have a professional massage to get the muscles in working order. What we do to impress our kids....well never again....another note, brad actually broke a rib knee boarding to impress his, so i guess I came out on the better end of injury at least. i have always loved going out on the lake and i loved sharing that experience with my boys in hopes they will have the same passion one day.
this past weekend was a biggie too! aunt paige got married! rog and i headed down for the weekend (alone...thanks mimi and gigi) which we always enjoy..... nice. we love going to weddings to remind us how much we love each other silently repeat our own vows. we loved having the chance to cut a rug together on the dance floor and celebrate great times with our entire family and many friends that made the trip down! The rehearsal dinner was great and we even snuck out with Katie and ed to a fun underground blues bar 911. Saturday after the bridesmaid luncheon ,before the wedding we got away for a nice day lunching at MINT and laying by pool....so . Fun adult times :)Congrats to PAIGE and BRAD MCCORMICK!!!! We enjoyed every minute!!!
