playing together, so sweet :)
Well what a time we had at the beach....It was a long overdue vacay for all of us, and our 1st family vacation, or as I was expecting a RE-Location, but to my pleasant surprise, it was really a VACATION! We had so much fun with our little boys and boy did they just eat up all that Daddy and Mommy time and making us laugh for hours on end! Campbell and Airey LOVED the beach. They didn't mind the sand in their hair and eyes and hands (BTW, they ate about a pound each I would guess, hehe..)Campbell crawled strait for the waves every time an Airey looked for seashells and jumped the waves. We cooked in a lot with all new seafood recipes I had and made huge breakfast too. Roger and I enjoyed reading the paper and sipping coffee while the boys would explore the condo and balcony every morning. By afternoon they would be pooped from the beach and sleep about 3 hrs, so Rog and I enjoyed Bloody Mary's and yummy dips and just having fun talking and relaxing with each other, we even got a chance to read a book. Campbell learned to pull up while we were there and has started pointing at everything, both hands even, haha....Roger said he looks like Romo calling out the linebackers on the line LOL. We had an cool wade pool and playground on site and that was fun for a change from the beach and for late afternoons. The condo had fun activities for the kids like bandana painting and caramel apple dipping and always passed out popsicles, Airey's Fav! There was so much for the boys to enjoy as well as us! We took them to Seaside one day to Bud and Alley's where our wedding reception was, and to take their picture right where we stood taking our 1st wedding photos was surreal, wow. We have come a long way in such a short time! They enjoyed ice cream and the walks on the beach and especially one lunch at Sharkeys that had a pirate ship playground! It was so wonderful to spend 8 days together as a family and we feel so lucky and blessed to have such good boys and a unbelievable loving marriage. I couldnt do everyday without the help of my husband and all the love he gives to me and his sons. We are so thankful for that time together and all the memories we made :)
